(From the WV Daily News) At the Ronceverte City Commission meeting an ordinance prohibiting the playing of baseball and football within the corporate limits on the Sabbath Day was read, seconded, and passed. All persons violating the provisions of this act shall be fined not less than $10 and not more than $25 and cost for each offense.

Deacon's Meeting - Sunday, Oct. 5th - 9:00 a.m. and Trustee's Meeting immediately following Morning Worship Service Benevolence Offering - Sunday, Oct. 5th You will be given the opportunity to give to the Benevolence Ministry of our church which this month is going to the victims of the recent hurricane Women's Fellowship Meeting - Thursday, Oct. 9th 7:00 p.m. at the home of Judy Epperly All the women of the church are invited to attend this wonderful time of fellowship. We will meet at the church and carpool to Judy's home. The Cash Family The southern gospel group, "The Cash Family" will be presenting a song service for us on Sunday, Oct. 12th at 7:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend to hear them sing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
